Pre-Registration
The deadline for pre-registration was July 17th, 2010 and is now ended.
Registration
Registration will be any registrations received after July 17th, 2010. Registration will be $20.00 per person. A completed Registration Form and payment must be received for EACH person who will be participating. Registration may be submitted online, by mail, or it may be brought with you on the day of the ride to the registration tent.
On-Site Registration
On-site registration will be available on the day of the ride at the Registration Tent. No registrations will be accepted after 10:00 A.M., when the last bike must leave out. On-site registration will be $20.00 per person. A completed Registration Form and payment must be received for EACH person who will be participating. For your convenience, we also have the ability to accept Debit and Credit Cards on site at the registration tent through Paypal’s secure server. (There will be a small 5% convenience fee for use of the Paypal service)

Registering for the 2010 Louisiana Melon Run is now easier than ever! Registration Forms are available for download below, or you may complete a Registration Form online and submit your payment online through Paypal. Even if you don't have a Paypal account, you can still make payment through their secure server with your credit or debit card. (There will be a small 5% convenience fee for use of the Paypal service) You can be registered and paid in two easy steps:

In consideration of the Louisiana Watermelon Festival and the Louisiana Melon Run accepting this application, the undersigned for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns hereby release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Louisiana Watermelon Festival and the Louisiana Melon Run, their sponsors, organizers, committee officials and each of their respective representatives, agents or employees from any claim, demands, damages, actions or causes of action arising out of or in consequence of any loss, injury, or damage to my person or property incurred from any cause whatsoever, in consequence of attendance or participation in the Louisiana Melon Run event notwithstanding that any such loss of injury or damage may have arisen by reason of the negligence of the Louisiana Watermelon Festival or the Louisiana Melon Run, its sponsors, organizers and committee officials harmless and does hereby indemnify them from any and all liability for personal injury or property damage to third parties which may occur in any manner arising out of my attendance or participation in said Louisiana Melon Run. The undersigned further acknowledges that the Louisiana Melon Run is not a race and that speed in no way determines the outcome of the event and hereby agrees to abide to all the rules, directives, and conditions of the Melon Run, as set forth by the organizers, either verbally or in writing, before or during the Melon Run. The undersigned further agrees that the motorcycle named in the application form is in safe operating condition and complies with and meets any and all highway specifications put forward by the Louisiana Department of Transportation. I further certify that the above motorcycle is insured for a minimum of Public Liability and/or Property Damage. |
